The Potter Hill Community Dig is now over for 2023
We went to an area of Potter Hill full of exciting archaeology!
Our finds are currently undergoing evaluation and it will be some months before the results are known.

Now we are in the post excavation stage we still need your help to make this dig a success
You can still donate to help with the costs of the June excavation. We had all sorts of costs, from bottled gas to brew tea and coffee for our volunteers, fuel for the digger, 6″ nails to help mark archaeology, or the hire of a portable site toilet. Send us a message via the contacts page if you can offer us any assistance. As we made so many unexpected finds we have extra costs for their evaluation.
